Supporting Locals

For over 20 years the Utah Valley Kennel Club has proudly presented local K9 Enforcement teams bulletproof vests to protect our K9 officers. Each vest is custom fit to the awarded dog for maximum protection. These vests are valued about $1,700 each and are not currently supplied by their respective departments. Utah Highway Patrol, Salt Lake County and Utah County Sheriff's office have all been recipients of these vests and even the donation of a K9 partner. In 2005 our club President, Kelly Reimschiissel, was presented with a Citizen Service Award for the dedication of organizing the donation program to our K9 Enforcement teams.
